Why buy from us
There is no company behind Imua Ohana. No investors, no warehouse, no marketing team. There is a house on the North Shore, a family in it, and every one of these designs drawn at our own table — usually late, usually after the kids are down.
We built the retreats ourselves. We built this store ourselves. When something needs doing, one of us learns how to do it. That is slower than having money behind you, but it means everything here is actually ours, and nothing gets sold that we wouldn’t wear.
So when you buy a shirt, it doesn’t disappear into a company. It pays for the boards, the printing, the next design, the entry fees for the contests Shayden is surfing. It is the reason we get to keep doing this at all — and the reason our kids get to grow up watching their parents build something.
